Today has been the end of the first "official" day of GDC and by officail I mean this is the start of the entire con for me.
I woke up for my flight into San Francisco and thought "Today is the day I can finally relax and not worry about work!" And then the flight got delayed for an hour (which in all honesty is not as bad as some of friends who waited four hours or had to stay over night in NEW YORK and get up even earlier to get to San Francisco...I'm sorry Portia... I know it sucked but at least you got a free hotel and ride out of it?) Either way, since my plane was an hour late, I was unable to pick up my pass today. (GREAT SADNESS)
But it turned out to be an excellent day and I got to meet up with a lot of friends from Columbia College and just hang out with them for a day. It's been a while since I could just hang out and have fun. Tomorrow is a new day and I know that tomorrow will be even better than today! LET THE OFFICIAL GDC KICK OFF BE A GREAT START!
